The Appalachian Center at Burke is one of four member institutions of the Appalachian State University Greater Hickory Partnership, providing degree programs for students of all ages through off-campus programs in Morganton, NC.

Degree-seeking students from throughout Burke County and the surrounding area apply to Appalachian State University. Upon admittance, students attend off-campus programs in Morganton, NC, or study on-line, and earn their degrees from Appalachian.
